spring

spring

I was thinking the other day about the development of energy awareness and being myself in early stages of that, I realised that the main thing I have learnt about it over the past year (amongst other things) is the nature by which it develops.

It grows in its own time, when it is ready. I don’t know why I ever thought it did anything but that, as you have never suggested that it did! To me it is a little like the way Spring starts. In the winter everything is dead, no colours, no leaves on trees, everything is really bleak and lacking in life.

Then as Spring arrives you suddenly notice the odd Daffodil popping up or you visit a place where there are a few bulbs appearing. Generally though, the landscape is not exactly teeming with life. As time goes on, more and more life starts to appear, landscapes, colours and trees change around you. Everything becomes more full and starts functioning to its optimum.

By the time you arrive in Summer there is so much more life, but you didn’t really see it change day by day and you wonder how and when it suddenly blossomed around you. By the same token, with energy you first notice something so small that you wonder if you imagined it. But as time goes on you start to notice other things that you were previously unaware of.

Months later, you realise that your awareness has actually changed quite a bit, although subtly, but again you didn’t notice it day by day. I feel that I am very much at the beginning of this journey and it also occurred to me that it is a good job that it doesn’t all happen over night, because it would be a bit of a shock to wake up one day and suddenly have all that awareness that you didn’t have before!
